If you’re experiencing a recurring EL1_error RPI on your Raspberry Pi, the first thing to do is replace the power supply (PSU). While a faulty power supply can spread issues throughout the whole Raspberry Pi, it does not necessarily indicate that the whole system is defective. There are other diagnostic steps you can try, as well.
If you’re running a PC, you can try plugging a powered USB hub into your Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi needs a higher amount of power than a USB port is able to deliver, and you should check whether your computer can power it. If it’s still not working, you can check your power cable to make sure you’re not overloading the system.
