The AAPT error occurs when the resource android:color/system_neutral1/1000 is not found. The solution is to downgrade to a lower version of the Android SDK, such as 1.4.0. You can do this by setting your compileSdkVersion to 31.
The error may also occur when the SDK is outdated. To fix it, make sure the SDK version is at least Android 8.1. This will prevent any further problems. If you’ve tried to downgrade to an earlier version, it’ll cause the error to return.
